Betty loved all animals, but her heart belonged to her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Belle. So, when she started a charitable gift annuity with Animal Humane Society, Betty joined our Legacy Circle to ensure a better future for all animals—including her beloved pup.

When Betty passed away, we took in Belle through our Loved for Life program, which is exclusive to Legacy Circle members. Loved for Life is a special offering for members of our Legacy Circle who have had the foresight to include AHS in their estate plans. AHS will ensure that your beloved pet will always have the lifelong, caring home you have pledged to provide them.

Belle received love, care and individualized medical attention while we searched to find her the perfect new home. That perfect home came when foster volunteer Caroline met Belle and fell in love with her sweet disposition.

“I'm so grateful for AHS and the Loved for Life Program. I think a lot about Betty and what an incredible companion Belle must have been for her. I'm so honored to keep on pampering her fluffy princess!” Caroline said.
