Geraldine Wants Income From her Bequest to Replace the Loss of her Annual Gift
Geraldine King believes it is very important to ensure that homes are found for animals now and into the future. For years she has been a strong annual supporter of the Animal Humane Society and has also included a bequest to the animals in her will. Her goal when she is gone is to have the income from her bequest replace the loss of her annual gift.
Geraldine has a soft spot for Animal Humane Society cats. She believes their varied background and personalities just makes them more fun. She should know, she has adopted seven shelter cats.
A fan of black cats, Geraldine has three-year-old Harry who still acts like a kitten and is the family rascal. He is excited and curious about everything which often gets him in trouble. A master of opening and closing cabinet doors, Winnie lures Harry into a cabinet and then shuts him in. Geraldine will hear a distant meow only to discover that clever Winnie has struck again.
Admiring the antics and unique personalities of each of her precious pets is what inspires Geraldine to make a statement in her estate planning about what is important to her. As a member of the Legacy Circle, she is helping ensure the financial stability of the Animal Humane Society for generations to come.
